My Everyday Makeup

I've mentioned some of the make up I like before in my favourites post but I've never really done anything dedicated to just make up, so I thought I'd give that a go.

The make up that I wear on a daily basis ( I don't necessarily wear make up everyday, but I always do when I'm actually out of the house) is pretty routine for me, I tend to stick to certain products, so I'm going to just go through those now. I'll put links through to each of the products I mention if they're still available to buy :)

I start by using a moisturiser, the Sanctuary Spa Body Butter. Even though it is labelled as a body butter, I've always used it as a face cream. Next I use the Maxfactor Facefinity All Day Flawless Foundation in Light Ivory which I apply with the Real Techniques Expert Face Brush. I also use this brush to blend in my concealer, I use the Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer in No1. I do my Eye Primer alongside my Concealer application, and I use the Essence I Love Stage Eyeshadow Base for this.
I then set all of this with my Kiko Soft Light Powder (It doesn't seem to be available on their site anymore, but this one is similar, albeit a bit pricier ) using a small Kabuki brush from Primark
.
I then use my Sleek Face Form Contour Kit in Light, this a 3 in 1 product, so I use it for Bronzer, Highlight and Blush. The brushes I use for this are all Real Techniques, the Buffer Brush and Contour Brush for Bronze and Highlight and the Retractable Kabuki Brush for Blush.

Next I'll go on to Eyes. Generally I don't do too much, I'll just go for a neutral shade. I normally use something from the P.S Love Day Eyeshadow Palette from Primark with a Real Techniques Base Shadow Brush or my Kiko Cream Crush Lasting Colour Eyeshadow in No. 11 Pearly Light Rose.
If I'm feeling brave, I sometimes go for eyeliner too with my Soap and Glory Supercat Liner, my hands are quite shaky though and I struggle to hold the pen up so unless I really have time to perfect it I tend not to bother.
Just as a base for my lashes and to go over the lower lashes, I use the MakeUp Gallery Never Ending Story Mascara (This is the Poundland Make Up range...so it's only £1!!) and then for a bit more depth and volume I use the Kiko Volume Attraction Mascara. For brows, I just brush through them to tidy up, and for this I use the Sleek Brow Stylist .

For Lips, I start with a base of my Burt's Bees Mango Lip Balm . I'll then line my lips with the Natural Collection Lip Lines Pencil  in Ruby Rose. For everyday, I tend to stick with quite neutral lipsticks that are easy to reapply. The Lipsticks I reach for most are two of my Essence lipsticks, either the Sheer and Shine Lipstick in All About Cupcake or Longlasting Lipstick in Barely There.

And that's it!

Apologies for the not so great photography, there are no places in my house that have good enough natural lighting :( and the embossed e's on my lipsticks don't like to focus ever!
